And I'm writing today to ask if you can help.

Six years ago myself and my wife took on the role of being the Directors of Outreach for Chabad here in Central Broward.

We found that there are Jews in the hospital needing resources, a Rabbi, and someone who cares.
There are business people going about their routine wanting something more.
There are hundreds of Jewish seniors in various facilities that were feeling alone and thirsty for meaning to make each day of life count.
We found Jewish teens navigating their teenage years and searching for truth and direction.
We found retired and almost retired individuals, new moms and dads, all yearning for a life that is more than just eat sleep repeat.
And it has been our passion to reach out and bring them love, meaning, and resources.

We have been running the operation out of our office.
We have been meeting people in their businesses and homes.
We create individual Holiday packages and have been giving out close to 800 packages each Holiday.
We have been giving classes in senior facilities, businesses, and on Zoom.

So, the teens have direction and a Rabbi who cares, and the patients in the hospital are remembered. The seniors feels loved and cared for, and Jews at all stages know that they matter and are being thought about each Holiday.

But we have found a need that is not yet being filled. There is no space for Jews to come when they are looking to learn, to connect, and to belong.

Meeting Jews from all around central Broward it is clear that there is a need to create a community that people can feel a part of.

For over a year we've been looking for the right space. A place where people who are looking to connect to G-d, can come for guidance and resources to deal with the questions that current events are bringing up for every Jew.

A place where they can celebrate the Jewish Holidays, reap the benefits of our Jewish Tradition, and most importantly a home for Judaism where they feel they belong.

We are at the cusp of a new stage, with incredible potential.

A beautiful, move in ready, 3200 square foot space on the ground floor with plenty of parking has become available. To make it happen will cost $5,000 a month - $60,000 for the year, to bring this critical resource to our community.

Naming opportunities are available to dedicate the new Chabad center, the kitchen, the offices and the classrooms.

As well as dedication opportunities for the Aron Kodesh (Ark), Mezuzahs, and furniture.

Your involvement will surely bring the soul of your loved one much blessings and comfort.

- Rabbi’s Office: 

This is the headquarters of Chabad Central Broward. 

It is here that meaningful classes are prepared, Holiday events are booked, supplies ordered, and community members' needs are taken care of. 

If you want to meet a Rabbi with a huge heart and sincere dedication to the wellbeing of every Jew he encounters, this is the place. 

- Nechama’s office: 

Nechama does many of the graphics and content creation for Chabad events and inspiring newsletters. 

It is here that she plans classes and programs to enrich the life of each Jew in Central Broward. 

If you want to speak to someone who loves being a Jew and loves helping people connect with their inner Jewish spark, she is all in. 

- The Kitchen: 

This is where the challah is baked and the chulent is cooked. 

The spectacular kitchen is the hub for all things Jewish food. 

Doughnuts, Hamentashen, cholent, a good bagel with lox, this is the place where it all happens. 

- The Sanctuary: 

Here is where prayers are held. Joyous Holiday celebrations are experienced. Life changing classes are taught. 

This is the place that brings people together with a sense of belonging and community. 

A place where Torah is alive. 

- Chessed room:

This is the place where volunteers come together to pack Holiday packages that show Jews across Central Broward that they are cared about. 

- The lounge: 

The lounge is a place that feels like home. 

Couches and a coffee table make it a place where authentic conversations can happen.

A place for laid back classes where real life and real questions are tended to. 

- Children’s room: 

At Chabad Central Broward the children are the priority.  

This is the place for precious little children to experience joy in a Jewish setting.  

Aleph Bet Games and Jewish themed toys, when you walk into here you feel Jewish pride. 

Whether it be the place to play while the adults are praying or learning, or a place for Jewish moms and children to connect, this space makes coming to Shul an experience they look forward to.
